WILD SAFARI - IN KINDA

Wild Safari - about 4 hours

Experience the fantastic scenery of Kinda – many lakes, enchanting forest, high hills and deep valleys. The “Wild Safari in Kinda” takes you to the region’s most beautiful areas!

Our knowledgeable guides will provide for you an interesting and memorable evening. We start the Safari by meeting up at the Market Square in Kisa. From there we drive to a scenic place where you will learn more about larger game in Sweden. We will look for roe deer, fallow deer, bager and hares. If we are really lucky, we might catch a glimpse of an elk (European moose), see a fox or some boar, and maybe even lynx.

Meeting place at the Market Square in Kisa

WHERE?

The Wild Safari begins and ends at the Market Square in Kisa. Kisa is situated along
Road 23/34, between Vimmerby and Linköping.

HOW?

In your own car, on small roads, lined up behind the guide. The number of cars is limited to a guide car + a maximum of 4 cars.

We use a communication radio for the guiding during the tour. You can borrow both communication radio and binoculars from us. The Wild Safari is mostly guided in Swedish and English. All activities take place outdoors.

>CLOTHING: Wear clothes according to the weather. Preferably muted / dark colors as the animals are more easily frightened by light. All activities take place outdoors.

WILDLIFE SAFARI - EXCLUSIVE

Wild Safari - about 4-6 hours

We offer an exclusive Wildlife Safari tour in an area rich in wildlife in southern Östergötland named “Kinda”. Experience the beautiful scenery with its many lakes, magical forests, high mountains and deep valleys as we travel in smaller groups in a wildlife safari car. The tour runs in the evening.

  • Wednesday evening 24/7
  • Tuesday evening  30/7  

Meeting place at the Market Square in Kisa

WHERE?

The wildlife safari starts from the town square in Kisa, or you have the option of being picked up anywhere within 10 km from the starting point.

HOW?

We go on the wildlife safari with a car which can accommodate 6 passengers. Alternatively, you have the option of driving in your own car behind the safari car. However, you might be more comfortable in your own car but it is easier to get a better view of the animals from the safari car. The price remains the same for both options.
 
Your guide Pelle will give you an interesting and memorable evening with many experiences – chances are that you will enjoy the moose (known as the “king of the forest”), deer (fallow and roe), wild boar and even the illusive fox. Lynx and wolf have also been sighted in the area.
 
When the wildlife safari is over, we return to the starting point.

PRICE?

Option 1: 

Time about 4 hours. Regular price SEK 1 900 (180 EUR) per person. Children up to the age of 15 pay half the price. Applies to a maximum of 3 children together with at least 2 adult.

Option 2:

Time about 6 hours including wildlife meal. Regular price SEK 2 700 (250 EUR) per person. Children up to the age of 15 pay half the price. Applies to a maximum of 3 children together with at least 2 adults.
 
The wildlife safari meal includes: smoked/salted game meat (served with jelly), potato salad, “Kindagurka” (salty pickled cucumber), tomatoes, local bread, cheese, drink, coffee/tea, cake and more. Changes to menu will be available on reservation, kindly let us know about any allergies when you make your booking!
 
Number of participants: Max 6 persons.
